The IDP-HEAT thermal detector is a smart plug-in heat detector. Specifically, it works with Honeywell Farenhyt fire alarm control panels. Furthermore, it offers better features than older detectors.

First, you can program its sensitivity from the control panel software. Next, the system monitors sensitivity continuously. Also, rotary switches set each detector’s address. Therefore, you always know its exact location for maintenance.

This series includes three models:

• IDP-HEAT: Fixed temperature detector at 135°F (57°C)

• IDP-HEAT-HT: High-temperature detector from 135°F to 190°F (57°C – 88°C)

• IDP-HEAT-ROR: Fixed temperature and rate-of-rise detector at 135°F (57°C)
