General The TR-6815 is a signaling line circuit (SLC) expander for use with the Triga Series TR-2100ECSR / TR-2100ECSB analog / addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP). Use the TR-6815 to add more SLC devices of the same protocol to the TR-2100ECSR / TR-2100ECSB control panel. Additional TR-6815’s support 159 devices, and 159 modules for a maximum of 2100 points per TR-2100ECSR / TR-2100ECSB. The number of TR-6815’s used is limited by the number of SBUS devices. TR-6815 shall support the TRIGA wireless range of devices. The TR-6815 communicates with the FACP via an RS 485 system bus. A green LED on the TR-6815 board blinks to indicate good communication. If an addressable device on a TR-6815 fails, the loop communicates the failure to the FACP and continues to operate normally.
